At Dunbur Head in Co Wicklow you can find this beautiful Lighthouse which was constructed in 1816. This was one of three Lighthouses which currently stand in this location, the other two Lighthouses were constructed in 1781, one is now abandoned and the other has been converted into rented accommodation by the Irish Landmark Trust.

Wicklow Head Lighthouse as it is known by became fully automated in 1994 by the Commissioners of Irish Lights and to this day remains active. The Lighthouse stands at 14m high and has a light range of 23 nautical miles (42km).
