Weather in the Wicklow Mountains National Park can be very temperamental. It can go from Sunshine to Rain within minutes and can be quite frustrating for some if they came from afar to photograph some stunning green landscapes.

But for me I embrace bad weather and I try to capture the Wicklow Mountains in a moody way like in this photograph which was captured along the Wicklow Gap in some pretty misty weather.

The roads were pretty much empty and there was an eerie silence as I walked along the road to capture this. This particular road is the R756 which is 32km (19 miles) long and connects the East of Wicklow with the West.
