This is a photograph of me overlooking what is my favorite place in all of the island of Ireland, Glendalough Valley. Located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park Glendalough remains my all time favorite place to go for head space and fresh air.
This particular image was captured just beyond the old Miner’s Village which is West of the Upper Lake. The area forms part of the Spinc Trail and the views on a clear day can be absolutely stunning.
But beware in the Autumn/Winter months the weather here can make this area dangerous with Ice making it treacherous and Fog which can disorientate.
