If you find yourself on the Old Military Road in the Sally Gap then chances are you will stumble upon this beautiful Waterfall in the Glenmacnass Valley when you take the R115 at the Gap Crossroads.

The Waterfall is very impressive especially during the autumn/winter months when there is more Rain. The Waterfall offers some beautiful views of Glenmacnass Valley and is a great location for hiking and photography.

I captured this photograph the day after Storm Brian made landfall in Ireland. As you can see there was lots of rain which made quite the atmosphere in the Valley and also made it a challenge to capture the flow of the Water while not getting my kit to wet.
